The annual "Get There" campaign took place May 2-22, 2016 across Benton, Lincoln, and Linn Counties! "Get There" celebrates and promotes transportation options. "Get There" is a partnership between the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments and the City of Corvallis.
Participants were invited to track any 5 trips by bike, bus, walking, carpool, vanpool or teleworking at www.DriveLessConnect.com for their chance to win a Kindle® Fire HD or a trip to Chinook Winds Casino Resort in beautiful Lincoln City! Tracking just 1 trip made participants eligible to win gift cards and other prizes from local sponsors across the region.
Participants tracked 3,506 bike trips, 505 bus trips, 1,637 carpool trips, 180 telework trips, 636 vanpool trips and 973 walking trips during the campaign.
