Corvallis School Pool Program

SchoolPool is a FREE service provided by the Benton County Safe Routes to School (SR2S) Program that matches families from your child’s school with others who are interested in carpooling to and from school. The program was designed after the Eugene SchoolPool program and has the following mission:

To engage students and parent/guardians of Benton County schools in actively pursuing and maintaining healthy, alternative transportation options to/from school.

The Benton County Safe Routes to School (SR2S) Partnership consists of government agencies, school district staff, law enforcement and bicycle advocates. The partnership is convened in October 2005 by the Benton County Health Department with the support from Oregon DHS Obesity Prevention grant.
